Old vs. New vs. New Improved, etc....

I got a razor today and I can't figure out what I got. I know... I should just post a picture, but I don't have my camera handy.

I did a search, and could not find any info. It seems that "old" and "new" are words that are too common to search.

So my razor has a ball end, no ridge, teeth, but the end teeth are wider. I was thinking that meant "new improved" but the handle is knurled, not fancy.

So if someone has better searching skills then me, I'd love to figure out what I got. Thanks!
 
That's it Brian! Except mine looks really old. I'm a user, not a collector, so it's really looks cool to me. (sorry for the big ugly picture... I'll make it smaller).

It doesn't have a serial number or code that I can see. Do you know when it was made?
