Here are two gems found at an antique store in Louisville, KY this morning.

In the original case with Blades and Paperwork Near Mint E-3 1959 Gillette Fat Boy 1-9 Adjustable Safety Razor

1951 W-1 Gillette Super Speed..This one was dark black an hour ago.

Since I'm a newbie, it's been a really exciting week for me.
My Vision set with stand, bowl and brush came in from Nashville Knife Shop. My order from Classicshave came in with some Taylor of Old Bond Street Hypo-Allergenic Cream, Feather Kanwa Herbal Aftershave, Cremo-Cream and Feather DE blades!

From Mama Bear, a block of Mary's non-scented soap, (nice stuff!), alum block with drying stand, some unscented Summertime aftershave and Wintertime Sandlewood aftershave and two shaving soap tubs.

This is a great sport!!

I picked up a nice old three piece German travel razor today.

That is an old bottle of Floris Elite after shave that a fellow B&B'er gave to me (yes, you). Along with some JM Frasers s/c and Polar Ice a/s.

Got a gold one to match my silver it is not as pristine as I wanted, Still looking for that perfect one even willing to pay just can not find one. This is in real excellent shape if it was not for the gold fading a little on the silo doors it would be perfect but this is still a nice addition to the collection for now plus picked it up cheap the person did not know what it was.

Also Picked up a 48 or 49 Super speed no date and it has the notch's what I think make it a 48 or 49. Already got my pristine 47 so I will be listing this one. It is in great condition light signs of wear. No brassing or pitting looks good.

The horn handle is so beautiful - pictures do not do it justice. I cannot wait for my standard in ebony to arrive since I get the feeling the dark ebony is going to be all sorts of funky cool as well.
