Talking Marshalls Luxury Soap - OMG lather heaven!

so I went to Marshalls and happened to see a set of 2 luxury soaps. I bought them for 5 dollars. Jazmine scented, glycerin, olive oil, fruit oil, vitamin among the ingredients. Main one is Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate plus Pentasodium Pentetate and Tretrasodium Etidronate.

I have never seen this kind of lather before! Is this what you guys talk about when referring to a good lather soap? my God, this soap lathers like nothing I have seen or experienced before! Williams lather x 10! I can't believe it! I am at a loss for words. This soap is out of this world! I can't describe what beautiful, rich moisturizing lather this is.. all I can say is JACKPOT!

somebody hold me I think I'm gonna pass out... this lather is the stuff of legends!!

    no It's a bath soap.... I think.

I am facesturbating to the extreme atm... my face is like wow after this shave!

and I made the lather with tap water. I can't wait for my next shave to make it with hot purified water!

That's a cold process Palm oil soap by the looks of the ingredients. Now you won't need to lather with detergent, eh?

I've been wondering about this. Is there a particular combination of ingredients that makes something a "shaving" soap?

MOST bath soaps these days are garbage. If you find a decent cold process bath soap that is made with the right fats I expect they'd be fine to shave with. Looking at the ingredients of some good cold process shaving soaps, I see the resultant salts and glycerin of saponification, fragrances, dyes and preservatives.

You ended up ordering Tabac, right? You're going to have to steel yourself for the type of lather you will encounter.

Palmolive bath bars are honestly great shaving soaps. About a buck a bar, and chock full of tallow and glycerin. I suspect they aren't much different from their European shaving sticks. It certainly won't dethrone your Tabac or MWF, but it's a hell of a lot better than Williams.

it's a vegetable oil soap from what I found out. I managed to shave for 2nd day in a row... something that was not possible before due to nick and razor burn. This soap is good!!

If you're this excited over department store bath soap, I think you should probably stay away from Tabac lest your poor heart give out.
