    Default Shoulder Surgery tomorrow!

I am having a shoulder surgery tomorrow morning at 7:30 am, so if you have a minute, think about me and the doctor who is performing it. A huge calcium deposit will be removed from my left shoulder. I am not quite sure how long I will be out, but I assume it will be something like two weeks. Guess, no brush making or restorations for me the next weeks.

Rudy, thanks for letting us know. You are a gentleman and an artist. I bet that you could create those beautiful brushes with one shoulder. The best to you.

Good luck Rudy. I literally feel your pain. Will you have to have a nerve block? That was real weird having that done. The one on my right shoulder did not work but my left sure did and it was weird. You will have an extremely fast recovery if they stay away from the tendons in there. Give us an update when you feel up to it. By the way you are lucky, I was always late in the day for my surgery and would be VERY hungry and they had trouble getting IV started because I was so dehydrated.

Rudy, best thoughts, wishes, and prayers for you and the doctor. With all these well wishings going out from the forum folks... that Doc is going to be the 'artist of artists'!

    Have a super speedy recovery!

Hi Rudy, we're wishing you the very best and pray your recovery time will be fast. Hang in there, if you can get the ice machine to use at home, do it. It has been very helpful to Wendy now and her previous shoulder surgery.

My best wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery! I have two brushes I'm looking forward to having you restore when you are feeling fit and able.

Best of luck with a speedy recovery. I had a similar procedure done on my shoulder several years back. The rehab after shoulder surgery isn't the easiest thing (start it as soon as possible). Mine started the day after surgery and took me quite a while to get back to 100%
