    Default New Scottish DE shaver

    Hi all,

Just checking in and saying 'hello'. I started DE shaving back in December after purchasing a Merkur Futur, Omega Cream and a cheap bristle brush. I've since acquired a Kent B4 Silvertip brush, Cyril Salter Sandalwood cream, Col Conk Amber soap, a 1930 Gillette New Regent, a 1958 Fatboy, a 1965 Slim Adjustable and am just in the process of buying a 1955 Superspeed from a B&B seller.

I'm hooked on this and enjoying shaving for the first time since I started 26 years ago. My wallet is going to start complaining soon, though...

    Cheers!

I have indeed! I actually won two on eBay and got a third free - the guy I bought the Fatboy from threw in a Slim which he said was in a 'sorry state' & which I 'might be able to do something with'. Got them both last weekend and did my first ever clean-up. The Slim is now shiny bright - yes, it has some pitting and brassing, but it gave me a cracking shave & I bought it to use, not to look at. The wear and tear gives it 'character' !

Razors are like bikes - the ideal number to own is n+1, where n is the number you own already.
