How do you properly load and use an Injector?!?

Used a Schick Injector for the first time last night and managed to butcher my neck.

- I'm not sure the blade was correctly situated within the head.

- I couldn't seem to find the proper angle of attack.

- I probably didn't load the blade with the "key" properly.

Can someone please upload or link me to some visuals and/or a decent explanation so that i can enjoy this razor, rather than rue the day i acquired it?

Sure. here is a video on how to load an Injector (set to cheesy 70's porno music, no less! ). As for angle of attack, I've always thought it was pretty intuitive: the angle of the head follows the skin line. The handle is much more purpendicular to the floor compared to a Gillette style DE.

Angle of attack? Just lay the flat part of the razor against your skin and get cracking. That's pretty much the whole point of the injector's geometry.:tongue_sm

That is hillarious. Thanks for the laugh Mark!

Cool.

Thanks for the responses, guys.

After a more careful examination, i think my Injector is damaged as the guard bar does not sit even against the head, thus exposing the blade at a bad angle.

I'm already considering picking up another one from ebay or something.
