Well thanks to a particular thread on another forum which was used to discuss Shaving and Grooming, I gained a particular interest in this safety razor shaving of which I hear only good things about. It definitely has peaked my interest and I would really love to give it a try.
That aside, you all can just call me by my username (Hyndon) or by my first name (Jeff). Basically I've been lurking around on the forum the past 2 days or so and I have a learned a lot so far, and how much I've been missing out on.
There are a couple of things I am still a little confused on, and that would be a couple of the terms used here on the forum...The ones I am confused about would be DE and PIF. There were a couple of others but I can't exactly remember them at this moment.
Anyways, at this particular point in time I really don't do much when it comes to shaving..I usually shave after taking a shower, and I use regular old canned shaving cream from the store and a fusion. No aftershave or anything.

DE=Double Edge, as in Double Edge blade or Double Edge razor.
PIF=Pay It Forward. This is one of the nicest things about this forum. Members will take shaving items, be they used or new, and give them to newbies, active duty military, veterans, or any other demographic they see fit. Many times, it's a PIF for PIF's sake.

Welcome. Keep hanging out, you'll find the site pretty interesting. Abbreviations can be found here. I had no real interest in wetshaving when I first found this site. 4 months later I've got 11 razors and counting. I never thought I would look forward to a shave, but I find wetshaving very relaxing.
