Of course it was wrong - I was saving the RIGHT answer for this guess???

And, of course, my correct (????!!!??? ) answer - is......

    Annapolis, MD.

That's my new guess - and I'm sticking to this guess like glue.....

Unless you tell me I'm wrong....

    Again..????

    Sorry John, you're wrong again!

Let me go back and repeat a clue I gave a few days ago...the building with the dome is a state building, not a federal one.

Ding, Ding, Ding...we have a WINNER! You get to post the next challenge photo.

The photo is the skyline of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, as viewed across the mighty (and wide) Susquehanna River, from the western shore.

Here's a photo of the State Capitol Building, from a little closer up!

    Well, it is in Europe.
The site has a rich history and here is an excerpt from Wkipedia about it:

"The xxxxxxx was included in the World Monuments Fund's 2008 Watch List of the 100 Most Endangered Sites in the world.[9] It was included, in 2009, in the 15 must-see endangered cultural treasures in the world by the Smithsonian Institution"
