I think Rudy has to be right - that terrain & the previous clue "upper midwest" coincide only in the badlands, unless there's an alternate midwest ..
 
North Dakota?

Bingo...it's North Dakota. Not the North Dakota Badlands (Theodore Roosevelt Nat'l Park) but about 100 miles to the East in Morton County, ND. I don't know the specific name of the butte...but it's a beaut! Take it away, Rudy!

(BTW, both North Dakota and South Dakota have badlands...the SD Badlands are a little more desert-like. The ND Badlands are a little softer and greener.)

Unfortunately, I've never been to Ireland. However, I have been a few neolithic sites - I'm still surprised they built Stonehenge so close to the highway :lol:
