    Default My Mastercard Commercial

    Dubl Duck Satinedge: $11.00
    Pinnacle Honing Film (15, 5, .5 Microns): $4.99
3"x8"x1/2" Plate of Glass (for affixing the film): $2.50
Homemade Leather Strop (Tandy Leather): $4.99

    Greatest Shave Ever..........Priceless!

Honestly, the Straight purists will cry, "Burn the Witch" at how unconventionally I entered into the straight world, but I didn't want to break the bank just to find out I liked DE's better.

I was a little scared on my first attempt, but after my first pass across one cheek, I knew I was hooked! You literally can't feel the stubble coming off.....amazing!! I still like and will use DE's, but can definitely see adding straights to my rotation.

Wow, how long did you have to spend on .5?

    Got pics of the duck?

What exactly is this worth? It has a yellow bakelite handle like the Special #1's.

Oh, $14 at least, I'd say.

If it's in good condition in the $75+ range minimum. NOS condition, maybe $125-150? I don't see them come up in good condition very often. Seems an oft-abused razor (like the dwarfs) while the -Edge razors seem to be split between abused and well-kept.

Congrats. This is exactly the way I took to enter the straight journey.

Yes you got a very good deal. If I saw that picture as the sole picture of a duck on eBay, I'd expect it to end ~60-110$
