    Default Hello from Tennessee

Just wanted to drop in and say hello and say im new to wet shaving and still thinking about getting a DE razor. After 12 years of using can crap to lather my face im so glad I tried this. Five years ago my grandfather died and my grandmother gave me his old spice shaving mug. I put it up with some other stuff I was given and forgot about it (sad I know). I moved in to my new house about a year ago and finally got around to unpacking some more stuff last weekend and found the mug. I got to thinking about him and decided to shave with it. Kinda like a tribute to him I guess. Went to walmart and found some VDH with a brush and bowl came home and started. After I was through I was amazed. So i gathered up the 2 cans of Edge gel I had and through them away. I am converted. Thanks for letting me tell my story.

Welcome! You've got the mug and soap, it's time to stop "thinking about getting a DE" and do it! You'll never look back!

Get a Merkur HD or a Gillette super speed. Both are pretty gentle, and the HD is an amazing razor once you get good with it.
As I told you, it would be absolutely, totally, and in all other ways inconceivable.
