What's new

Flea market finds...any good?

I'm new to the world of straights and hones. I can understand the obsession as I've been bitten myself. I found the first hone 4 or 5 years back and bought it as it was only five dollars. didn't know what I was going to do with it but the price was right. And the other is a ITSAPEACH. I read a post from a year or two ago. If I am correct it's a pretty good hone, But could use some clarification on them. Oh yeah got it for 12 bucks. Anyway thanks and I just like to say I appreciate everyone's knowledge and willingness to share it.

Thanks again, Brent

Looks like a very old example of an arkansas.

Yes itsapeech are good barber hones. I believe there's one selling on eBay now (or maybe just sold) in the $40 range.

it is not arkansas stone.
it is oil stone and compare to arkansas a lot faster cutter.
Second stone is great barber hone.

You got a deal on the 'peach', you could easily net double that on the auction.

Give it a try as a hone w/ your oil stone you got there on something cheap, what've u got to lose?
