Just won a refill puck of C&E Sandalwood

Wondering if I might have an older formulation?

Box is burgundy with a "gold" circle with picture showing an elephant lifting a log in front of what looks like the Taj Mahal. Copyright info is dated 1978.

Ingredients:
Sodium Palmate,
Potassium Palmate,
Sodium Palm Kernelate,
Water,
Glycerin,
Potassium Palm Kernelate,
Stearic Acid,
Fragrance,
Isopropyl Myristate,
Tetrasodium EDTA,
Sodium Chloride,
BHT,
Tetrasodium Etidronate,
Pentasodium Pentetate,
Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891),
D & C Yellow No. 10 (CI 47005),
Iron Oxides (CI 77491 CI 77492 CI 77499).

No mention of the Vitamin E mentioned on C&E's site.

The scent isn't overpowering but SWMBO did go "mmmm nice" when I opened it!

Looks like it will fit perfectly in my spare OS mug

Not sure which one is that but the newer formulation is much better soap and scent. I have a newer one but cant remember what the main ingredients were. For the best results I've found with this particular puck is use a stiff brush.

I get great results with C&E Sandalwood shaving soap, but I like the scent of the Sienna better.

That's the new formulation, non tallow based soap. Wonderful scent, subpar performer IMO.

Thanks for that Anthony. Will try it and if I need to, I can add a spot of Palmolive cream.
