recent restoration finds

Hey Gents,
Here are a couple of my most recent straight finds to restore. I don't think either will need too much work to get it shaving condition. Any tips are much appreciated as these are my first ones to restore. I used a dremel with a wire brush to get what rust (which wasn't a whole lot) that was on them off.

WRCase & Sons Bradford, PA "Manganese"


The scales on this one feel pretty good to me. Solid, very little to any warping.

This is is going to need the scales replaced, as they are quite warped, and the pins seem loose. As hopefully you can see from the picture, this one has some darkening/discoloration. Any ideas on how to remove it?

The discoloration doesn't seem bad at all on the second one. I'd try first buffing it out with some Maas or other polish and a cloth to see if it'd come off.
I would give a dremel at low speed with a felt wheel and some polishing compound a try if that doesn't work. Always, always, always make sure your dremel is rotating away from the edge when you're working near the edge. I chipped the edge on one razor really badly when I had a dremel rotating towards it.
I've only done one kinda successful restoration, so you should definitely ask others, but
I think these two are generally considered safe options for a mild clean up.
