What's new

Brick and Mortar

Alright, so I have been DE shaving for 9 months however for most of the time (until last week) I have only needed to shave cheeks and neck because I have had a beard/goatee for the last 15 years. I love the morning ritual of DE shaving, but I never had to worry about AD until now that I shave the whole face.

 Damn it all that I am on a terror looking for new soaps, creams and A/S.

I can order online and get anything I want and need, but I still would like to walk into a shop to test/sample shave products before spending the rest of my disposable income to remedy this new affliction.

I live in New England and would like to ask if any of you know of any shops that I can visit. I know of and visited a few in my state such as C&E, L'Occitane, Sephora. But I am looking for more of the specialty places that sell quality products. I did find a few places that sell T&H that I still need to check out.

Therefore, what shops do you know of and like for immediate hands on satisfaction in CT (where I live) and the Boston area (where I work every so often)? Even NYC when I get a chance to head down. Thanks your suggestions and I realize that I need help. If you know what I mean.......

After lurking on this forum I've noticed quite a few threads about regional B&M shops. As with any forum a quick search can find a lot of answers.
One for CT is here:

Not sure about Boston but the places in NYC are pretty well covered in this thread:

and of course ya never know what ya might find at a local mom & pop pharmacy or health food store. Like Kiss My Face cream, Thayers, or old stock Schick injector blades. Happy Hunting!

Thanks. I've searched all over the internet with Google, etc. I must be losing my mind, don't know why I didn't search B&B. :tongue_sm
