    Default Double Duck Special #1 restored in Bloodwood

    My first work in bloodwood.
    Scales are CA finished, with Gabon Ebony wedge.
    Nickel- Silver pins
    SS stacked on brass washers

    Nice!! I really like the looks of that wood, it has a really rich and warm, relaxing kind of look.

    Nice and eligant. I like the combination of the brass, ss and nickle pins. Was the dubl duck insignia inlayed or just glued on?

    Thanks Ray,
    the insignia is put in between coats of CA. I do not know how to inlay unfortunately.
    One thing that really surprised me is that when holding the razor closed it feels very solid and fills the hand nicely, but it is not heavy.
