Default Sources for new boxes for straights

    Does anyone have any?
I'm after some plain black boxes similar to the cardboard sleeve type
Nothing fancy, in fact simpler the better!

I know Ebay has loads of "antique" and "rare" boxes
but I'm after some clean new ones for some of my razors that are box-less
(I'd love to source a 2-razor style box if possible)

    TIA

    Nick

Same here, I am actually looking for something that will fit a 8/8 Henckels I recently bought.

Classicshaving sell new Dovo razor coffins for $2.99 but they won't take 7/8 or larger.

Also, you can get travel cases for toothbrushes at some supermarkets very cheap, maybe less than $1 but again they probably wouldn't fit anything larger than 5/8.

I have found that antique stores that have razors often have piles of old boxes for straights as well.

These will accmodate most 6/8 as well. They are plastic, which means they are more durable BUT they don't breathe and can promote rust formation. I bought a nearly new Dovo that was stored in one of these and it had some rust on the tang/tail, which I think is largely due to having been stored in the plastic case.

I have seen generic paperboard boxes, but can't remember where.

You'll have a hard time finding new boxes for 7/8 and larger razors.

I know you're looking for individual razor boxes, however, I find felt-lined cigar boxes work well for storing straight razors.
If it were easy, everyone would do it; hard is what makes it great.
