    Never tried that one. Looks a little like clear melt and pour soap with green tea bits in it.

    I've tried this one, and I like it;

    Thanks for the input Phil.

    I'm going to try the one I linked and see if I like it - it's cheap enough that, even if I don't like it, it's no great loss.

    There sure aren't many green tea soaps out there...

    Let us know what you think. I'd be interested in trying it myself, if it's any good.

    Provence Sante Green Tea is excellent, as is Proraso Green Tea and Aloe. SCS had a Matcha Green Tea that's also quite nice, but I believe it's been discontinued.

    The linked soap is quite inexpensive so I see the appeal in that. I've heard great things about Proraso and Provence Sante, and come very close to buying each...just can't bring myself to spend more yet.

    Anyway, I tried KMF Olive Oil and Green Tea soap just for washing my face and I like the scent of green tea, for whatever that's worth. If you do try the melt-and-pour, give us an update. I love hearing about new, unknown soaps.

    Provence Sante Green Tea is my favorite soap. I hope they never quit making it, but it's my understanding that all that's available was special ordered by two vendors. West Coast Shaving and Shaving Essentials both carry it, but I'm not sure if they'll get more when they run out.

    I think I saw John Crissman say that it's going to remain in production.

    Green tea is very good for health. It is used in many places for health & hygeine purpose because green tea leaves are not fermented. Instead, they are steamed. This is why green is the best of these teas. It has the most polyphenols. They also help control cholesterol, which means they protect the heart. These powerful antioxidants also help boost brain functioning. There is also research which suggests that this powerful tea can help the immune system.

    That is the weirdest bot post I've ever seen. It's not selling anything, is it? Or is that a human who just really like green tea?

    Agreed... I have seen some pretty interesting posts recently - especially from posters with 5 or less posts. One guy is claiming to be a master shave soap maker that sells tons of it locally to friends and family that spread through word of mouth - even offering free bars to people. Just kind of odd.

    Another +100 on the Provence Sante Green Tea! Although I don't have the soap yet (its in the mail!!!) I do have the aftershave and it smells fan-feckin-tastick!! I also ordered the cologne as well since the aftershave does die off within a relatively short time.
