I am with everyone else, pack it on top of the next soap victim or use it up as hand soap.

Thanks all for the feedback. I will put it on top of my next soap. I was leaning that way, but you all made the decision easier.

I have a spreadsheet with all kinds of tabs and stuff. Way too complicated. I love it because I'm a nerd.

Me too. I track my soaps daily then tally it up and add to the wiki.

I just completed my first shave with a new puck of Barrister & Mann Bay Rum soap and all I can say is "WOW!"

This one shave is already better than each of the 114 shaves that I got from my tub of T&H Rose cream. For granted, I previously 3017'ed a B&M puck so I knew the performance was going to be spectacular but this time, I am really digging the scent. The next 2 months are going to be filled with awesome shaves.

I 3017'd a couple of tubs of Barrister and Mann. It is a very good soap. Cheshire was nice but Seville was my favourite.

I 3017 a tub of B&M Fougere Aromatique several months ago. It was a very very good soap. I was digging though my stash and found a brand new tub of B&M Lavanille. That may end up being my software for April, assuming I don't have a reaction to it. Completely forgot I even had it.

I use Google Sheets - online spreadsheet so I can update it on my phone or at my computer. I track my few 3017s, and keep an inventory of what I have with the original weight and estimate # of shaves. On another tab I made notes of different blade results.

I had my first shave with the St. Charles Shave Sandalwood soap. I started with a dryer brush than normal and slowly built the lather, adding in water as I went along. It produced some pretty good lather. I will try a wetter brush next and see if that works as well. I like to start wetter and not have to add water as I go along, but some soaps don't like that. We will see if this one does.

There's probably only enough for 1-2 shaves from each sample.

My Dr Dittmar finished this morning. It went out, not with a bang, but with a whimper. The last little tiny bits had trouble dissolving and I had a "feta face" shave with some very thing lather. Up next, I will be rapidly working my way though my 12 cream samples from the Mr Bingle Secret Santa exchange.

I was getting two shaves from each of those little packets. They make great travel creams or for camping. My second shave was always very luxurious as I would just squeeze the rest out instead of trying to get a third shave out of it.

Just tear the packed open gently and it is good for the next day, no drying out, no oozing if you prop it upright.

Yup, that's how I've been dealing with the same size balm samples and getting 4-5 uses out of each one.

Has anybody heard about St. Charles Shave? I hear they make soaps, but I never see them popping up in the thread...

I had to scrape the Strop Shoppe Apple Cinnamon from the sides and mound it back in the middle of the MWF bowl again. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks for the 60ml soap. It won't make it to 4. I've had creams dry out and be firmer than this croaps consistency after 3 weeks of daily use. Loading and lathering is a breeze.
