My Guess... 3017

I have zero issues with MW at home. I took some on a trip to the beach once and had to use about 3x the amount of product for a fizzy disappearing lather. I love it at home, though.

Still trudging on with my samples. June will be a year of nothing but samples. I haven't counted but I'm guessing I've gone through 40-45 samples so far. I'm working through my lavenders right now. My current sample, stone cottage cream, is a real standout. This is my 3rd stone cottage sample to work through and it really shines no matter what comes before or after. Top notch stuff!

Naturally after downsizing you start to accumulate again. I got a Semogue 1250 for 12 bucks for kicks.

Soaked brush with a touch of water let out swirled on the puck for 30-40 seconds or so:

Top notch soap. And after two weeks I'm finally back down to the starting weight!

After taking the weekend off while down in Tasmania, loaded up the Merkur 37c with a new Personna Red this morning. My top blade in what is one of my favorite razors combined with CB yogurt goodness gave me one of my most effortless BBS to date. Two to Mango is quickly becoming one of my favorite shave scents.

Best lather yet this morning with Trumper's Violet. The puck is getting softish due to the hydration. I can push it around like Arko. I would call this morning's lather dense and creamy. Not top tier dense and creamy, but certainly not thin and foamy. Already thinking about the next soap, though I don't think I've used a third of the Trumper's. I don't know if i can go to T&H Luxury Soap after this or not...

Finished off my TOBS sandalwood cream. Top notch stuff and my new benchmark. Moving on to a sample of soap commander. Should last me about a month. I have used a sample before of soap commander and I expect good things.

I broke out the B&B Essential Boar this week (after not using a boar brush with the Trumper Violet soap since early 2016), and got a fantastic lather. I am coming to the conclusion that Trumper soap works best with a wet brush. Not damp, not dripping....just wet. That gets the foam working, and I will spend the next 30-45 seconds working that "foam" over the soap itself, rather than have the dry, airy lather spill over the wooden bowl. I do one more dip of water to incorporate it into the building lather, and then apply it to my wet face. Total time from loading to blade on face is 90 seconds.

I love the B&B essential boars. They're my go to if I'm having trouble lathering something.

Started the sample of MW Marrakech that @Parjay sent me. Phenomenal shave again. This is going to be a very nice week indeed.

Glad you enjoyed it, Derek! When I get it just right, MW probably is my best performing soap.

I'm really not finding it hard. Starting with a drier brush and adding water like normal, MW has this hump that you get over where it is somewhat sticky on the face and all of a sudden it's slick as hell. At that point I just keep adding water till it tightens up and gets to be that thick, shiny, yogurt texture that we all love. Love this soap.

:thumbup1: I had a bit of irritation so I have been dabbling with a few products to get it calmed down. Darn seasonal changes. We had a great week of Spring here in Chicago before diving back into Winter.

Hello folks. Joining the club after just accumulating to much clutter. Finished off a Stirling almond creme puck and on may 1st started on a tub of AOS lemon cream I've for over a year. Ithe is taking some discipline but I like finding finishing product and simplifying my life. Glad I found this subject forum.

Nice to see you here chromedometone

Getting back on the horse after coming back from travel/hiatus. CB Inspirazione di Parma is the choice.

Here in Sydney we've been sitting around 75* and sunny every day for the past two weeks. SWMBO has been sending me jealous / angry text messages daily from back home, gotta love Chicago springs! :001_rolle

It should be a fun experiment that I'm hoping turns permanent. I just cannot take the clutter and theven hoarding anymore.
