Good Straight Razor?

My first one trying not to spend a lot, i'm not a collector nor am I into shaving like most are on this site.
It is only going to be used to detail my hair.
what do you think?

Junk, junk, junk! They will not hold an edge and are junk. Try getting a good shave ready vintage off of the B/S/T. If you want new, check out some of the cheaper Dovo's.

using a tin can lid would be better, or a sharpened rock

Disposable blades and none of the maintenance of a real straight razor.

I've never had one used on me but my barber has talked about it before.

EDIT: Unless you were talking about the hair on your face and not on top of your head. In which case you might want to search for some shavettes.

Those look like something the punk on the corner would have because he thinks he's cool. Those wouldn't even be good for cutting things. Don't waste your money.

You're going to have problems with those.

You're going to be shelling out some money for one.
I was given a gold dollar and strop as a gift for $60, and that was a good deal.

You might also find one at a swap meet and have it sent out to be honed. Then you still need a strop for daily edge prep. :/
