Default FS: 3 Mama Bear soaps *USED ONCE* Ginger Lime, Sandalwood Vanilla, Hydrogen

I have been a long time lurker on the boards here, and after hearing all the platitudes given to Mama Bear soaps I decided to order some. After perusing the boards I picked out three scents: Sandalwood Vanilla, Hydrogen, and Fresh Ginger Lime.

I received these last week, and after trying each one, I must agree that all of the kind words sent Mama Bears way are accurate. They smell great, lather well and give a great shave.

Unfortunately, I am an unlucky individual in that I had a bad reaction to the soaps and these give me a burning, irritated face during and after I shave with them. :( After looking it up, apparently a small minority has an allergic reaction to Mama Bear, and I am one of them.

So I am selling all three. Each one was used once, you can still see the meniscus from the original pour. Given that each tub can give 6+ months worth of shaves, one shave is negligible.

I paid $32 shipped to my door for the three, i will send these shipped for $25. Save 25% on virtually new soaps!

PM or email me if interested.

    Thanks,

    Chad S

I'm sorry to say that unless I'm sorely mistaken, you don't meet the BST guidelines for selling as you've only just become a member and don't meet the post requirement.

Hm, sorry. Even though my profile is new, I've been lurking for quite some time. Also, I would feel really bad to have to return these to Mama Bear, knowing that she would be out the cost of having shipped them to me, not to mention the fact that she would not be able to resell the product. Just knowing how tight money is for some people with the economy, I didn't want to punish her for having a great product, it was just an unfortunate coincidence that my personal biochemistry doesn't agree with these soaps.

    Stop lurking and start participating!
MB Soaps are great, but somewhat sensitive skin will react to the FO. You can't sell here yet, but these will go very fast when you can.

Lurking doesn't count towards the BST rules for selling.

No need to feel bad. Mama Bear doesn't take returns. (Check the website)

Seriously though, why don't you post a few things on the site and hang in there until you meet the BST rules for selling and then you can post these up for sale again.

Wow, that was arrogant and slightly rude for you to publicly post that they were sold.

I think moderators should pull B/S/T threads posted by newbies ASAP.

I think it was more than slightly rude. It was a slap in the face to all who follow the rules.
I can DFS with XTG, and CCS PDQ with WTG, but BBS needs ATG or I'm SOL. That's just my MO. You may think BFD, but if you read the FAQ in the WIKI, you'll find out ASAP that's it's not the SOS.

Hi Gents: Glad to see that I wasn't the only one thinking this communication was a tad too arogant.

Agreed! This was not a very gentlemanly thing to do.

Also, I'd have to say that the buyer is as culpable as the seller. The rules are clear, and by buying the soaps from the OP, the buyer is only encouraging this sort of unscrupulous behaviour.

Yep.... it was 3 am when I posted that and I was really tired. What I really wanted to say was that it was big "f" and a big "u" to the rules and every member of this board, but I didn't. (hope that's not too sassy to post).

This is an amazing board, and I think the rules are great, and I'm glad that only those that participate and have a relationship with the rest of us are allowed to sell items.

BTW, I tried to sell something to early (enough posts, not enough time) and I immediately withdrew my offer when I someone informed me. I waited about 20 days, and then sold my item.

It's cool. Sometimes people need an "F" and a "U"

To other newbies, use this example as not the way to get started in this community.

Poor show on the seller & buyer, the rules for the b/s/t are in place for a reason.

Well, I wouldn't count on this guy sticking around.

Personally, I don't know what the big deal is, I figure it is buyer/seller beware on anything I buy/sell on line. I take responsibility for my own actions. Have I been burned, Yes, once or twice. Overall with the ammount of stuff I buy on line that is a pretty small number.
