WOW!! That is nice looking. That is one I would consider not using, but only consider.

I would just like to thank Kamamuri for being one step ahead of me.
I was thinking "Hmmm...how 'bout an executive fatboy?" not 2 hours ago and would have definitely jumped on this had I seen it earlier thus ensuring a routine of instant ramen for the rest of the month.

Also, that's the most beautiful razor I've ever seen. I think I cried a little.
    Regards,
    Hanif

I think I would've sold my left kidney for one if I ever see an executive in this condition with the case for sale.

This one appears to be slightly better than the one I sold, specifically in that this one does not appear to have the "rubbings" on the silo doors so it appears this razor has not sat in it's plastic case for years as mine did.

I think you are confusing this with the adjustable Aristocrat. The Executive sits vertically in its case and nothing touches the head, whereas the Aristocrat lays in the hard plastic case and gets those rub marks when it gets jostled around. This was Gillette's worst case design by far for protecting a razor.

I love mine...used it daily for over 10 years....$5 at a garage sale It was so black and dirty I didn't know it was gold until I cleaned it!! (doesn't look anything like this one!!)

Thank you, but I am not confusing the two. For clarification, here are pictures from when I initially received my Executive Adj. in late 2009, with the rub mark in question (very difficult to photograph with my poor skills and equipment) and the point on the case where I believe they come from. There are matching marks on either door, and though it would be impossible to say once the case is closed (without cutting the case apart ) whether or not the marks truly come from that protruding piece of plastic, it appears to line up very well as I close the case. It looks as if it is positioned and shaped to prevent the razor from rattling too much if laid on it's side or set any way other than vertical. The back side of the razor is supported by a groove in the red plastic that aligns with the safety bar, the front side appears supported by that plastic piece. I could be 100% wrong here, these are just my speculations.

edit: If my first sentence comes off as rude, it was not my intention. Without those damned smileys it is difficult to convey emotion, so let this addendum serve to say I appreciate hoffritz_heads comments and am responding in kind.
edit: Also, congrats to buyer and seller!

No rudeness perceived, and I appreciate the correction on my assumption. I have owned 3 of these Executives and never noticed rub marks on the heads, but I see now how it can happen.
