If you think that's crazy, you should read some of his newsletters.

Default ...next comes and axe and scissors...

That was a cool video. He has another where he shaves with an axe head and pair of scissors.

He also mentioned in his February 2010 newsletters that he's going to be soon carrying Japanese and European designed straight razors...so you don't have to use an axe or scissors...

I believe that if I was shaving with a machete I'd put on a little more shaving cream than that lol

His technique is all wrong! When shaving with a lrage blade like that, and also swords, Katanas or lawn mower blades, the accepted method is to hold the blade stationary and move your face up and down against it!

I think we may have found a replacement for the crocodile hunter.

I think he's using something like Ivory soap. It looks like he's just rubbing a bar of body soap between his hands and then applying it to his face.

Some guys have tougher skin than other guys.

Default watch the video before I read the rest of this thread

Geez I checked this out thinkin it was some kind of joke or fake. After watching and seeing his website its not fake, just a bit overkill

He must have a tough face & skin. I'd assume he must of prepared the blade in some way beforehand but didn't seem to do any prep for his beard at all. Someone get that man even a cheap boar's hair brush! Not only did it look like a minimum of lather but he even mentioned the water was cold.

Not that I could afford it but I'd be really interested to see his results in making a proper straight razor.
