A little while ago I bought a puck of HJM aloe vera shave soap on the BST. I've used it a few times now, and I'd like to give my impressions to you fine folks. Firstly, this is the exact same soap as the Muhle, and, I believe, the EJ Aloe Vera soaps. On the Muhle website, they don't even bother to change the Muhle branded box for the photo in their HJM listing. Now, I already owned a puck of the EJ Sea Buckthorn soap, but I must say that, even with my fondness for the EJSB, after having used this soap I think I prefer the Aloe. The differences might be chalked up to the fact that they are different scents, and therefore different formulations, but in either case the HJM performed fantastically. The scent of this soap is subtle, but masculine, and ever-so lightly hinted with spice. The lather I was able to achieve is thick, moisturizing, lubricating, and protective; by far the best from any non-tallow soap that I have tried. If you haven't tried this line of soaps YOU NEED TO! BTW, for you sandalwood lovers, I hear that Muhle's rendition is to die for, and I can vouch for the other two scents
