FS: 5/8 Torrey

This is a 5/8 Torrey with a barber's notch. This was my starter straight and after picking up shinier blades this one has fallen out of my rotation. It definitely isn't the prettiest blade in the world, but it does get the job done. There is uneven hone wear on the show side (there is some etching somewhat visible.) The pivot pin is a bit loose, so it needs some attention with closing. The previous owner gave it a vinegar patina and had honed it up nicely. While I personally can still shave with it, I highly recommend sending it out to be rehoned before use.

Cmon noobs....this is a perfect starter razor! Get this and a filly strop and you're only out $35 to start straight shaving!

Yep, a truly great deal for a starter straight. If you want to get it honed, you can find some great honing deals that will only put you out another $10 or $15.
