    Default A Welcome to the New Year

    I've been shaving with a DE razor for about 2 weeks now. Not to toot my own horn, but I've gotten damn good at it. I achieve DFS nearly every morning already. This new years my best friend gave me a gift. A professional razor straight razor. I still need a strop and a hone, and to do a lot of reading. But I cannot WAIT to give this a shot.

    I've been here since shortly before I started. I can't wait to try using the straight, but It will be a bit before I can actually use it. I need a decent strop and I cant be sure that it has a shaving edge. So I'll need a 4k and an 8k hone.

    I guess I could use a pasted strop but I've needed a good hone anyways.
