Washing hair?

Can someone recommend a product, preferably something on the "natural" side to clean my hair, anything with sodium laurel sulfate dries my hair out badly and the it gets oily.

Try Mama Bear's Shampoo. It's terrific.

I use shampoo bars: J.R. Liggett's and Chandrika Herbal. Both work great for me and the misses.

where can I find J.R liggett....only option seems online

L'Oreal has a new shampoo product called "EverPure" that is BY FAR the BEST shampoo I have ever used in my entire life (and I'm 51 years old). The only downside is the container; they could improve that. But this shampoo is absolutely amazing. Luxurious, soft lather that leaves your hair feeling like you used a conditioner even if you didn't use a conditioner. It says it is for color-treated hair, but it works great on any hair. No sulfates whatsoever. Not drying at all. You really need to check out this shampoo.
