Just a quick heads up, Gents. The issue of Playboy Magazine currently on shelves (Tara Reid on cover) has within it, four pages dedicated to the resurgence of barber shops & straight razor shaving. Very nice & well informed with language that's not only smart but makes sense to the layperson as well as experienced shavers alike. Check it out if you have the inclination.

You beat me to the post! Just got done reading the article and aside from recommending straight razors and Pinaud Clubman it was a great article!

I happen to think that the articles in Playboy are great! They are generally well written and informative. I find myself wanting to read the articles way more than look at the pictures most days. Ironically, Playboy does have some really good articles. I seem to remember them getting interviews with Abbey Hoffman, Kurt Vonnegut, and many others.

I recall that Playboy once had very good articles. I haven't picked one up since naught-2. Like most things in life, they're not as good as they once were. This is the same thing my dad once told me. Either I've gotten smarter, or the articles have generally gotten dumber. It could be they're exactly the same and I just got tired of reading the same drivel over and over. Will be sure to pick one of these up though.
