Default FS: Gillette Toggle razor (F4) user-grade

    SOLD!

    Next up is the following:

Item: Gillette Toggle razor, with a production date code of F4 (winter of 1960). No box or papers. I picked it up to see how I would like a Toggle and decided to buy another one to keep in my minimalist kit. This one goes out to another that would like to try the Toggle legend for themselves.

Condition: User-grade, as can be seen from the photos. It has all sorts of blemishes; plating wear on the head and bars, paint missing from the numbers, thinning of all the varnish, etc. It's obviously been used hard over it's life. I have cleaned it up, polished it and it's now a very slick shaver. It may not be cosmetically perfect, but mechanically it's in excellent shape. This razor is shave-ready; it has been cleaned with Scrubbing Bubbles, sterilized with Barbicide, then treated with 91% alcohol before being wrapped up and shipped out. No extra packaging is included. What you see in the image is what you get.

Amount used: Used for two months.

Prices: I'll sell it for $35 via PayPal, shipped.

Shipping: CONUS only, and I ship it via USPS Priority Mail.

Received this today - my first Toggle - much better condition than Mitch indicated - can't wait to give this one a try - look for it in tomorrow's SOTD!

I shaved with it this morning - very nice shave! I see what all the hype over Toggles is about, I think...

I'm thinking I should write a celebration of shaver-capable vintage razors - the lookers are nice, but for the value... a well used, mechanically sound vintage razor can't be beat!
