    Default Non-shaving related Christmas goodies?

So what non-shaving goodies did y'all get for Christmas?

    I got:

A gun safe that'll hold 30 long guns...
A pair of Woolrich slippers (asked for those)...
    El Dorado starring John Wayne...
    Wool socks...
    A 1/2" impact gun...
    Bones Season Three box set...
A new zip-up sweatshirt (asked for that, too)...
    Big shop vac...
    Bag of Costco trail mix...
Enough cash to get the Gun Vault locking pistol case I've been wanting...

Anybody else get anything good that wasn't shaving related?

    Let's see:
    • A metal thermos and family photos from one sister
    • Nothing from my other sister and brother
    • Some store-bought peanut brittle in an old personal checks box from a cousin
    • A $50 check from my dad
    • A hand-knitted scarf from my mom
    • Acoustic guitar lessons and a concert from my wife

    and...

    wait for it...

    • A 3M Scotch tape dispenser and tape from the in-laws.

By the way, that last one is *not* the worst gift I've ever received - by a long shot.

At least you got the fancy dispenser instead of just the paperboard packaging .

My best non-shaving gift so far (we celebrate w/ the in'laws this weekend), was tickets to a taping of the NPR show Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. This weekend, my wife and I will most likely get some cash along with the promise of a long weekend of free babysitting from her mother. That's usually one of the best gifts of the season .
