Default Here you go, disposable blade multi-blade cartridge straight razor

    http://www.freepatentsonline.com/5649364.html

the basic premise is that the blades are in the side of the razor, rather than just at the cutting edge.

In other words, this is stupid and the person that designed it was high. Very, very high.

Learning to shave with this would be interesting. Like a Trac2 that ateInternet meme returned to the 90s.

I'm not sure if I quite follow the patent... even after looking at the figures. I had seen at one point that Feather makes a multiblade cartridge with a handle that swivels so you can shave with it using a similar motion to a straight, or you could shave iwth it like a normal cartridge razor. Now that I think about it... if you were to do use that, and not swivel the blade around, you'd have to shave with it kind of like a kamisor, as there truly would be only one side you could shave with.

The key feature of that patent is that it is a disposable razor, so you can feel free to throw it in the trash immediately!
