Default Who else likes La Riana?

La Riana is a tinned soap from Italy made with olive oil. It has an unusual lather that is airy, so it has little cushion. However, it is extremely slick. It is also crazy moisturizing. I don't know if I like it enough to keep it in my rotation, but I've started using it as a bath soap b/c it makes my skin feel so nice. Anyone else have an opinion on this soap?

Yes, I've used it as a shaving soap. And as a shaving soap, it's absolute crap. It works much better as a bath soap, but it's still a pretty mediocre product.

I don't know, it's pretty nice as a bath soap IMO. Maybe not in the summer, but in the winter when even Cetaphil seems to dry me out it seems to be doing a good job moisturizing.

+1 on the absolute crap bit - perhaps the worst product I've used.

This is an olive oil soap and makes an airy lather that lasts about 2 seconds. The soap is very slick, but absolutely no cushion.

On top of this, its expensive and doesn't smell that great (I tried 3 scents and they were all pretty lousy). I can't believe this company actually sells much of this stuff, as no one I know has ever made a second order.

Put it this way, I would rather shave with my olive Savon de Marseille, which costs way less and actually lathers better - despite the fact that its a bath soap.

In short, steer clear of this dog.
    Chris.
