  1. Exclamation 24 Hours (ends 1/8/10) to buy the B&B limited!

    ORDERING WINDOW = CLOSED

The amount of orders has tapered off over the last week or so - so we're going to close the order date a week sooner. We're close to the number needed for the butterscotch (about 140) but we need a minimum of 200, so we'd like to kick this into gear and figure out if the butterscotch color is going to be a go or not. If it is a no-go, we'll work out who would like to change to ebony and who would like a refund

This will be a one time, limited edition run made by Kent of England. This brush will surely become a collectable due to its sumptuous curves, limited exclusivity, and its luxurious triple stuffed 22mm silvertip knot with a 45mm loft seated on top of a super comfortable 60mm handle. The handle will be in your choice of butterscotch or ebony color and will bear the same markings as last year - the Kent logo, as well as the Badger & Blade Limited Edition 2009 on the back.

The brush this year based on the number of fellas who had expressed interest should be less expensive - which is quite a feat considering this brush has a larger, denser knot. WITH import fee's (last year if you recall those were an extra unexpected cost) these will come in at $135 a brush, versus last years $144, so almost $10 less, for a larger brush - AWESOME!

How to start the order process for the 2009 Badger & Blade Limited Edition Brush:

    REMOVED, ORDERING WINDOW = CLOSED

    • Please ensure the accuracy of your order. There's no guarantee we'll be able to handle any changes or cancellations after you place it.
    • Due to the nature of this group buy, we cannot accomodate special requests.
    • Paypal is the only method of payment.
    • Please bear with us, as this is a lengthy process. If you're purchasing internationally, be prepared to have this process take significantly longer. This buy was almost limited to continental US orders due to the additional hassle of handling international orders.
    • These brushes will NOT ship before Christmas; however, we hope to have certificates available to be given in lieu of the brush as a present.

For more information on the brush, and pictures on the brush in action, as well as it compared to other brushes - see this thread.

    Talking Math Challenged

Would you be kind enough to provide a "total" including the 9 percent and change tax for us California residents, and domestic shipping? I'm traveling and don't have access to a calculator. Please advise total for one 2009 brush.
    Thanks!

    Just ordered a Butterscotch..

This will be the first high quality brush I have ever owned... Never would have believed I'd ever spend $145 for a brush to mix up soap to shave, but there it is...

What would a brush like this cost if not for the group purchase?

At least $50-60 in ebony but the butterscotch would be well over $200

Seriously, look at brush prices on websites - a PJ2 super which is in teh same ball park for size goes for about $160-170 but it is a production brush. You would need to add about 50% for a special IMO.

I vote for butterscotch, but if need be...I can do ebony. The real beauty of this brush is in the brush itself, not just the handle.

But seriously....enough guys said they wanted butterscotch for the mods to put up the order, so come on fellas, time to put your money where your mouth is.

Got My order in - thanks for the 'guide' to navigating the shopping cart.

I purchased a B&B Essenital last year and don't remember it being that challenging.

Q: If you call a tail a leg, how many legs does a dog have?

A: Four: a tail is not a leg no matter what you call it.

If the numbers shake out, I'll be getting mine in ebony, but I'd still get it if the handle were neon green and pink stripes.

I agree it's a good looking brush in Ebony as well as butterscotch.

However, the Butterscotch color will be the only current production brush with that color making it twice again more unique.

Just bought 2 in Butterscotch. I sure hope we get enough to make the run.
Anybody can pick up a black brush at anytime.
This butterscotch is a once in a lifetime opportunity!
(Well, until the next one. But who knows?!)
