Gillette Black (SUPER) Slim Adjustable and the other may be a fat boy, how long is the handle on the silver one?

Gillette Fat Boy adjustable razor, has a short thick handle 3 inches long

I think that second one is actually a Slim.
Can you say what the date code is?
    If it's "H" or higher alphabetically...definitely a Slim.

Whatever it is, it's a beautiful razor for that price!!

Yep it's a slim. Adjusted initial post. Can't even read my own ID guide

( The angle of the photo seems to make it a lot fatter and squatter and I didn't delve deep enough. That'll teach me to concentrate more on work than on razor IDing )

Truth be known after the first couple of weeks of DEing , I basically had my slims and FBs sitting in cupboard. They don't see much service.

    And for 5 bucks it's a bargain !!!!!

I hate to differ with fidjit because he wrote the guide on how to tell the difference between a fatboy and a slim, but the silver one looks like a slim to me. The entire TTO portion is knurled and there is a smooth band just below the knurling on the adjustable ring. I thought both of these features indicated a slim. Perhaps I'm reading the guide incorrectly?

There's a lot of Slims currently listed as Fatboys on Ebay, but I may have to pick up a Slim to try out if the prices stay that low. I haven't tried an adjustable yet.

Honestly, this shave was the best I have gotten with a DE.

The hairs came off so smoothly, I felt no drag on a 3 day old blade. I thought I was using it wrong - except when I finished the first pass and there was no almost no hair left. It's definitely way better than my Merkur Classic that cost about 5 times as much.

Excellent means it doesn't matter if it's a slim or a fatboy or whatever.....

You've found a razor that works for you !!!
