The Monuments Men. Meh, okay but not great. An interesting story but it got away from them.
Lone Survivor. Good movie, but terribly sad.
Gone Girl. Pretty crazy...dark, well directed. Enjoyed it.
I finished the novel yesterday. All I can is say wow, very impressive. Can't wait until the movie comes out on video.

Anybody see the end of Boardwalk Empire? Nucky's brother pulls out a brush and razor from a bag. It's supposed to be 1931 or so but the razor looks, from a very limited view, like a modern razor. It could be a single edge but didn't really look like it. Anybody see it?

I liked it, pretty good acting, some truly funny parts and some sad. I could tell almost instantly without previously knowing that it was directed by the same guy who did Sideways, The Descendants, and About Schmidt, all movies that I enjoy.
