    Default B&B Brush Stand Question

What is the diameter of the brush handle? What brands of stands will the brush work with? I'm specifically looking for a chrome stand that will hold a brush, razor & bowl like these:

    Anyone know?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

Diameters: The narrowest part of the handle is 26mm and the largest is 37.5mm. At the base of the knot, the handle is 24.25mm. The baseplate is 35mm.

EJ does not currently have a stand that will hold both. However, this stand will work nicely with the brush. In fact, they've added a photo of the B&B brush in it.

I'm new to this, but sure would like to find a stand that enables you to hang the B&B brush over a bowl (so as to keep the bathroom counter free of hard water deposits). Is there any plan for EJ to make a stand w/the option of adding a bowl as well as a stand for the B&B Razor---------or does anyone know of a stand from any company that would fit the bill, and yet, still look like it was meant to go with the brush/razor?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

darnit, I bought their chrome stand to use with these both.

Oh well, I'll see if I can get it to work. Re-engineering things seems to be my specialty

This might be of interest. Just received it from Edwin Jagger:

Thank you for ordering an item or items from the Badger & Blade Limited Edition 2006. Neil Jagger has designed the shaving brush especially for you and the silver tip and finest silver tip badger hair fills are exceptional.

The brushes are currently in production and the Georgian razors, branded Badger & Blade will also be ready fr delivery with the shaving brushes.

We have had several enquiries about which stand will suit the items.

Edwin Jagger does not currently have a stand which will perfectly fit both items. As far as a brush stand is concerned we have added an Edwin Jagger handmade single wire stand to the website. This stand is ideal for the B&B shaving brush and an image of one of the B&B bushes in the stand can be seen on the site at this link - http://www.theenglishshavingcompany.com/cgi-bin/psProdDet.cgi/SWSsb%7C%7Csws~@c~@b~@r~All%7C0%7Cuser%7C1,0,0,1%7 C1%7C#

We have also had enquiries about the suitability of the universal stand for the duo of B&B brush and Georgian razor. Whilst this stand is acceptable for the two items it is not a perfect choice. The razor fits just fine as it is intended for this stand. The brush rings have to be slightly adjusted to hold the brush and if any of you have ordered this stand we will of course make the necessary adjustments for you before we send the stand. The finish of the stand is not quite the same bright chrome as the collar of the razor and the base of the brush but the three pieces do look fine together.

Neil Jagger will be designing a custom made stand to take both items but this project is not in the immediate short term and we do not want anyone to be disappointed.

We will start shipping your orders week commencing January 23rd.
We do hope you will all be delighted when you receive your various purchases.

    Very best wishes for 2007.

Awesome, so no tweaking is required! I'm impressed!

Now, about that stand.....PICS PLEASE!!!! (just kidding, don't shoot me....yet!)

This is definately good news though, as that is the stand I bought, figuring it would work.

I'm nowhere near as on top of my new mail as I used to be.
