    Default Italian floid..... =(

So I ordered a bottle of Italian floid. I actually found it here in the states. i was pretty Happy to have even found it. Anyways long story short, I get n email this morning, and the vendor informed me that the last bottle of floid actually sold out just a couple hours before I placed my order. He refunded me my money.

Does anybody know where I can find this stuff, or have a bottle they don't want?

Good luck finding it. Other than the decants from superlather, I haven't seen it.

Thats one of the "Holy Grails" of aftershave journeys here in the States. Nobody can find a good vendor. If you find it, and dont post your source on B&B...and somebody finds out....

I really recommend you give the Spanish version a try while the US vendors figure out how to procure it.

www.vintagescent.com has Spanish Floid for a bargain!

I got a friend to bring me back a 400ml bottle from Italy when she was there... I cross my fingers that one of two things will happen before I run out. Mark at Superlather.com will find a way to get it here in N. America. Or I will find someone else going to Italy who can bring me back some.

vintagescent.com is where I ordered mine from but I'm not sure what the price is and the shipping was pretty fast coming from overseas only about a week.

I think they only sell the Spanish Floid. A different beast altogether...

I picked up a bottle of the original on the Italian Ebay -- had to email a few vendors to find one who responded in English, and I bought a bottle of the blue from the English online vendor whose name we are not allowed to utter. he usually has them in stock.

Yes. But retail shipping from Italy is cost prohibitive. It makes for a nice $100 bottle of drugstore aftershave...

I've always wondered what italian floid is like? Is it similar to aqua velva, or if not, how does it differ?

Hard to describe. Barbershop-y, powdery, has menthol, and it's not too strong, but the scent lasts in a very subtle way. I've never used aqua velva.

I tried to order two bottles, one of each, it came out to 106 with shipping. I figured why not... Anyways, after everything was said and done, it shot up to 123 euros when I got to paypal. Withch is about 189 dollars. anyways, The guy from the sight has been emailing with me back n forth, and we are going to try to figure this out.

Wow. I'll pay a lot for stuff I like, but that's a bit beyond. My friend purchased two 400 ml bottles in Rome (one of Blue and one of the Classic) for 19€ each (about $30 CAD).

These came out to be about 23 Euros a piece wich is about 35 american. The shipping is what killed me. But The guy eric on the other end, was really cool, and answered any questions I had, and we got it done. All I have to do now is sell some razors, and some starter sets... LOL..

How much was the total damage in the end? Were they able to give you a break on shipping?
