Default Is This Straight Worth Restoring

Is this bad boy worth restoring? What is a ball park on the cost to restore and hone and where do I go to get that done?

I am sorry for the poor quality picture, but this is the best I can do right now.

It is stamped H Boker, Germany and has the tree symbol.

I am not sure how to classify the blade width, but it measures 11/16"

There is no rust/stains near the edge of the blade. The picture captures what I think is the worst stain. It is rough on my fingernail, but not real deep.

The blade is etched UNRIVELLED on the top line and then HOLLOW GROUND under that.

The scales appear to be black plastic and the pattern is cut pretty deep.

    TIA for the help!!!

Looks like it'll clean up real nice-like.

If you're looking to spend a few bucks, I'd send it to Gssixgun or Maximilian. Their work is unrivaled from what I've seen.

I appreciate the reply, but I may not have been entirely clear with my request.

I have no attachment to this razor, so before I have it restored, I would like to know something about what I have, to verify that it is worth restoring.

Also, I have no clue about what I am getting into with a quality restoration.

Yes, a boker is worth more than the cost of restoration.

Looks all right, just need some time to be invested in it...

    Short answer, yes!

You guys are killing me here! Does anyone have any idea what a restoration would cost?

PM Gssixgun or Maximilian and find out how much would be best, rather than waiting for them (or someone else) to notice the thread and reply

Good luck- I have a Boker King Cutter and it's fantastic.

Good suggestion. I have sent messages to the two gentlemen suggested.
