Good Pre de Provence Gone Bad

For about the last 13 months PdP has been one of my most reliable and soothing soaps to use. Hoewever, the last two times that I used it, it made my face very irritated and red. Something that its never done. To the contrary, it always soothed. It also smells a little funny. Hard to pinpoint but it smells a little like lead pencil. Has the soap gone bad and should I throw it out? I don't have the original tin, can anyone confirm whether it has the 12M insignia on it? - Thanks

I recommend that you call Customer Service at European Soaps: (800)426-9260. PdP is their brand and I think they would be the best to serve you.
