As I have yet to heard a definitive response from the powers that be regarding this order - is there anyone out there who would be willing to order an additional brush for me? - For which I shall immediately send you a Money Order.
(I would order this item myself but I do not use a bank account)
Please feel free to PM me or send an email to [email protected]

We're short 50 brushes in butterscotch, 23 in Ebony. We're checking with the manufacturer to see if we can work out some sort of an exception. If we can get 20 more in butterscotch, Nick and I will pop for the additional 30 and cover the cost and have the inventory.

Both of these issues require changes made in the cart's settings, which can and will be done. If you've posted here about cart issues, don't worry, despite the looming deadline, you WILL be able to place your order, even if we have to get you sorted out after the ordering window closes.
I might be wrong here, but I think there are more people wanting Butterscotch, something like 2 to 1. I think the issue with the manufacturer (Kent) is that Butterscotch is not part of their normal manufacturing - therefore a higher unit number would be required of Butterscotch than ebony to justify the mechanical set up and down time required for a base colour change????
Thus, Butterscotch = more rareChange to Butterscotch you ebony orderers

If you look under the shopping tab you can see the number of available units under each color. They started counting down from 1000 available, so I would assume there are 85 black brushes ordered and 149 butterscotch brushes. I guess we'll know in the next couple of days how it's all going to play out, but I would suspect it's going to be easier to get 15 butterscotch buyers (10%) to switch to ebony, than it would be to get 51 ebony buyers (60%) to switch to butterscotch. Not that I have any input in the decision, that's just my two cents.
I ordered ebony, but I am willing to be switched over to butterscotch if doing so will help to get the numbers where they need to be to get at least one color of the brush manufactured.
good lord, what a convoluted ordering process... no wonder why the minimums haven't been hit, especially that confusing note about 2008 brushes ordered with paypal will be cancelled. Did that really need to be there?
Thanks to StillShaving for the tutorial, I've ordered one in butterscotch.
Will you guys say, when the orders finish, how many brushes will be made?
I have an image of myself in 50 years time giving the brush to my grandchildren saying- "This is one of 549 brushes ever made"![]()
I agree about the convoluted ordering process.Whew!! I think I got it right, at least B&B has a PayPal deposit from me, but man did I have to back track and un-track a lot before things looked right to me.
Butterscotch it is
If neither minimum is met, maybe we can combine orders and get the chartreuse hue option for a real morning eye opener ?![]()
I ordered ebony but would be willing to switch over to butterscotch if necessary.
Ben
Man, looks like everyone is jumping ship. Not me, ebony or bust. Hopefully everyone manages to get what they want.
I just tried to order a butterscotch but the order window is gone. Am I too late?
No announcements yet about the cutoff so order away folks!
Cheers, Dave
