OK -to start off the week - here's what's lately in:

In yesterday from the nice folks at West Coast Shaving, Simpson Persian Jar 2

a generous PIF from Cap'n Joe (thanks, Lucky!)

    from dbay,
    a Schick Type I1 injector:

a cool Hoffritz pure babger [sic] travel brush (16mm knot, 44mm loft, 88mm handle):

and my pride and joy - a birth year superspeed, baseball special promo set:

razor is a Y2; blades unopened, with cardboard insert behind; World Series Record book is a little tattered.... I think the razor has never been used.

    !

    hmm... guess so!

any clue to the identity of a French brush maker who might have made travel brushes for Hoffritz... and can't spell "badger" in English?

My guess, too - I just didn't want wishful thinking to overwhelm!

(now I maybe have... yet another Plisson!)

Default New Gillettes: Flare Tip and Adjustable c4

    Hello,

The score these days: a nice couple of Gillettes.

First one is a Flare Tip I think, the second one I think is an Adjustable C4.

Can anyone help me date these razors?

Default Fillys + Max = Bling!

    1000 words about straight razors...

The Filly 13 arrived on Saturday and has been shaved with. The Filly 14 EPBD arrived several weeks ago and has been shaved with as well.
The 13 gives an amazing shave. The 14 gives the best shave I've ever gotten.
In my opinion, there is no hype over the Filly 14 EPBD... its all true. No hype at all.
