Should there be a pre shave forum and products forum in the way of After Shaves, Soaps and Creams? Might it be in the General Shaving as a sub forum?
    Thanks

I've thought that there should be both forum and review options for preshaves, but I'm guessing that, since there aren't that many different products out there, folks don't think that it is warranted. The majority of preshaves are either oils or creams (the Italian pre/post), with just a few oddities (Castle Forbes soluable and Musgo Real's lime prep soap).

    Agree.
    My mileage does vary.

In my opinion, the most important is not the different products out there defined as a preshave itself but the different opinions and methods to use and mix them.
Is it worht using pre procedures?
Of course that there are oils, but different kinds and possibilities when mixing is the matter.
Natural oils vs already made products?
On wet or dry face application?
At the beginning or between passes too?
    Scented?
Italians vs English and American pres.
I think that all these questions are spread out in different forums and they might be altogether in their own one.
    Thanks for your opinion.

As there is only one Primarily truly great Pre (and Post!) Shave Product, which incidentally starts with a "P", there is Probably no need to Post Plentiful Points about other Pedestrian items!

Are you talking about PREP, or Proraso? Or 3P?

I see that we need a pre shave forum to discuss all of this.

Proraso Pre/Post shave cream just works for me - and has done so for years. I've tried numerous others, and although the Proraso scent (smell?) isn't that romantic, it does the job very well!
