Is a Gillette Tech fat handle more aggressive than ball end handle?

I've seen it mentioned that a Gillette Tech fat handle, no date code, is slightly more aggressive than a Tech ball end handle, with date code and etched diamond logo.

Does that sound right? Are the heads really any different?

No, they are virtually identical and shave the same.

I believe they have the exact same head. Only the handle is different.

I haven't noticed any difference between the way they shave.

I read the same thing when I first started lurking around here. After trying both, I can't say that there's any difference in the shave. Even though the design of the heads changed here and there, both are very mild.
