    Default 1st Perfect Wet Shave!

    Ok, so after being frustrated the other night about ALWAYS getting weepers and nicks ever single shave, I applied a little less pressure during my shave earlier this evening and not only did I get a BBS shave, but I didn't even get a speck of a nick or weeper AT ALL!

    And I haven't even put on any after-shave balm or witch hazel, but heck, with my shave being BBS, should I even bother?

    Congrats! I think you've found one of the keys to a good DE shave; not applying pressure.

    Excellent work! As to your question, I typically apply an AS or a Balm even with a really excellent shave.

    Congrats!

    I too apply AS after a shave, good or bad, it doesn't feel complete if it's not there!

    At the risk of sounding obvious, you'll find a really nice part of this is that it makes future shaves even more pleasant, since you don't have to avoid previous damage.

    Good work!

    Grats man! It's been a long time coming for you. Glad you finally got that shave. Aftershave is always a nice way to finish off the task.

    Of course you should use the Aftershave: it smells great, and the Menthol tingle is amazing, and something I look forward too.

    I use the Santa Maria Novella ASB (non alcoholic version). It is awesome after a nice shave!

    Dude (can I call you dude?), I am so happy DE shaving is working out for you now. Now you can enjoy your shaves instead of struggling with them. Way to stick with it!

    BBS = Baby's Butt Smooth

    DE = Double - Edge

    This link has some clarifications on all the abbreviations.
