Add this to your list of pairs of things never to do simultaneously: Shaving with a straight razor and listening to Kansas Public Radio.
I like to listen to the radio in the shower and while I shave and just about the only radio station that doesn't COMPLETELY annoy me in this area is the local NPR station. Between the hours of 9am and 3pm, they delight in laying some of the dullest classical music the world has to offer.

If I had started shaving at 2:01pm instead of 2:00pm, I may have sliced my throat whipping my head around to see if I was being chased by a fire truck driven by clowns.
