Captured in the wild

Instead of saying I'm going antique store shopping, I say that I'm hunting razors in the wild. Yes my hero is Calvin of Calvin and Hobbes fame :001_tongu
Here's what I bagged Wed. evening. I've only spent a few hours with Mothers Polish on the blades.

The top is a Wade and Butcher, but someone else has done a "restore" on it, and you can barely see anything on the blade.
The middle is a Sheffield. If it says Seffield, it goes in the bag.....
The bottom is a "Black Devil" I've never heard of one, but the marks on the reverse side of the tang say made in Germany, with a Dallas, Tx. company as the probable seller.

I love hunting in the wild. :w00t:

It was a great outing for you.
They never had a chance did they?

No, the lil' critters never saw it commin'
Although for the life of me, I'll never understand how some people will put out a beautiful set of scales with a blade that is *all* rust with a huge chunk taken out of the middle and still expect to get top dollar.......
When they ask my opinion, I tend to just say that it will make someone an interesting "collectors piece"......*sigh*
