    Default Hi all

N00b here to the DE shave. I've been struggling with a good shave ever since I can remember. Hopefully I can get some help.

I've got a Merkur 23C on the way and a decent brush and soap from West Coast Shaving. I can hardly wait.

Any suggestions on keeping the irritation on my neck down to a min? I shave at night before bed just so my neck doesn't look like hamburger when I go to work.

    It's good to be here.

check out mantics videos on YouTube and don't apply TOO much pressure on your skin with the razor just let the weight of the razor do the work. You may feel like nothing is getting cut (whiskers) but trust me it is. Welcome to B&B.

Definitely watch the vids. Try to look straight ahead while shaving your neck instead of up.

Welcome to B&B! Watch the Mantic tutorials on YouTube, practice lathering, and map the way the hair grows on your face are a few suggestions that come to mind.
