I want to make my own brush

I want to find a handle and buy a knot and put them together. I need your help to do this because I have no idea how.


Is there anywhere that I can buy just handles?

Should I find a cheap brush with a knot in it and just replace the knot? (ex. VDH brush in starter kit)

How do I and how difficult is it to take an existing knot out?

How do I get the new one to stay in? Just glue? Anything else?

Where else could I get a knot aside from the Golden Nib?

I shave my head and don't like spending a lot of time covering all of that area on the dome. What would be a good size for this?


What else can you tell me? All advice is welcome! I think this would be fun and a way to get a silvertip brush for cheap.
