Jack Black scents

Anyone tried the Jack Black scents? I believe they have the black, blue and silver.

I have samples of the black and blue. I like the smell of both, but I don't have a lot to compare to.

How does the silver compare to the others?

None of them are anything to write home about. I've had samples of all three for a few years now, and have gotten to know them well enough. None of them are really saying anything to me. I personally have come to the conclusion that most of this Jack Black stuff isn't all it's cracked up to be. I've tried most of the line (at length), and was happy enough with the triple cushion shave cream... until I got into Badger & Blade. There's better stuff out there.

I had the Jack Black Silver which went by a different name. It was sort of like Issey Miyake. As mentioned above, nothing particularly noteworthy about their frags.

A quick check of Basenotes showed there are very few reviews of them at all- which speaks volumes.

They're not offensive or bad...they just don't distinguish themselves much at all.

There are far better and more distinctive offerings for the same or less money.
